This coffee was grown by Kopakaki Dutegure cooperative, a collective of 1264 farmers in Rwanda. Grown above the country’s largest freshwater lake, Lake Kivu, this coffee is delicious and makes a difference. Farmers are guaranteed fair prices for this coffee, and are paid an additional social premium of 20 cents/lb. The coffee is a medium roast and boasts tasting notes of milk chocolate, red apple acidity and toffee sweetness.
